The Post-It Note Version

designing a more reliable and less traumatic nasal swab for Covid-19 testing

In the Fall of 2020, in partnership with Harvey Mudd College Clinic Program and City of Hope, we underwent the process of designing a more reliable and less traumatic nasal swab for Covid-19 testing (patent pending).

The process began with an extensive literature review, which evolved into the published paper, A review of nasopharyngeal swab and saliva tests for SARS-CoV-2 infection: Disease timelines, relative sensitivities, and test optimization, accessible here.
